KONI As the inventor of the adjustable telescopic shock absorber, they have continued to provide the industry leading quality desired for the high stress dynamics of racing. We have been associated with Koni since 1985 and can supply your purpose built racer, high performance specialty vehicle, motorcycle or highway driven transportation, with a set of Koni adjustable dampers.
Koni Special/Sport The Koni Special model is optimized for good road management and improved handling. It is primarily a street unit, but can be adjusted, to better control the transitions needed in autocross, When available, the Sport model will be the better choice, but the Special will show an improvement over an original equipment damper. The Koni Sport is designed with high performance in mind. It will give a dramatic improvement in road handling over OEM shocks. The Sport shock is generally adjustable externally to allow the user to quickly increase the damping forces for ride or performance requirements. The Sport has a slightly firmer ride quality at minimum adjustment than the Special.
Koni 3012 Series The 3012 Series features a threaded aluminum-body, external double-adjustable, high pressure gas, mono-tube design, for optimum performance. Their patented mono-tube design allows for independent adjustments to the rebound and compression forces. The 3012 offers one of the broadest adjustment ranges in the industry, eliminating the need of constant re-valving procedures from track to track. The 3012 Series dampers are available in either one of two standardized styles. The part numbers ending in an even number are supplied with the standard window eye, which has the rebound adjustment window on the axis to the mounting eye. The dampers ending in an odd part number are supplied with the rebound adjustment window 90 degrees to the axis of the eye. Also note, the eye supplied with the odd numbered dampers increases the maximum and minimum dimension of the damper by 0.2" (5mm). The rebound adjustment is made at the top of the shock while the rebound is made by fully extending the shock and turning the rod. These Koni dampers are made to order.
Lengths are for on-axis eyes only. Contact us for these or other Koni damper models.
