Racers Tape. Also
known as 100 mph tape, this is one of the most popular "fasteners" (body work)
on a race car today. Available in the following colors, Black, Blue,
Green, Orange, Purple, Red, White and Yellow. Because of it's
convenient
2" X 90' size, you don't have to buy a large roll of one
color you rarely use.
Cleco's For temporary fastening of panels before assembly (normally with rivets), the Cleco
fastener
is the method of choice. Available for hole sizes of, 3/32", 1/8",
5/32" and 3/16', plus a side clamping configuration, the more cleco's
used to hold the piece in place, the better your finished job will be (how do
you think the Pro's do it). The Cleco
pliers shown, work for both styles.

here are three tools that can make a difference. In the upper left, is the
Earl's hose tool for assembling -3an and
-4an brake or clutch braided line.
This simplifies the process of spreading the stainless braid away from the hose,
and then install the brass olive used for fitting attachment.
Earl's Aluminum hose end/fitting wrenches, used to eliminate marring of
the anodized red/blue, -6an and large, hose ends. The Earl's line wrenches are
sold individually, so order by fitting size. In the upper right hand
side, are caliper piston tools from ADA. They are used to remove brake caliper
piston when
performing an overhaul, without damaging the pistons. Order this tool by caliper
piston diameter.
Alignment tools. The Dunlop camber gauge, pictured diagonally across the
top of the caster/camber set box, is the cast aluminum tool that other try to
copy. It's durable design, insures constant measurement of a race cars most
critical dimensions.

Simple
to use, easy to calibrate, this Laser version of the Dunlop optical toe
gauge, requires no cables to operate, has a conversion calculator from degrees
to millimeters or inches. This precision product, designed and engineered for
accuracy and durability, reads the combined toe angle on almost any vehicle,
which makes it a must if you work on a variety of vehicles. PPL40 Laser Wheel

carrying case. Heads to pull, 3/32", 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16"

Brake
fluid bleed bottles, Used in pairs (one front, one rear), allow you
to monitor the fluid intake while taking full strokes of the brake pedal. Sold
in pairs. part# 9X0654.
Twin dial, Engine leak-down tool. Used to pressurize and monitor cylinder
pressure to establish internal cylinder conditions. This is the only way to keep
on top of your engine's conditions throughout the season. Comes with a long adapter hose,
for both 14mm and 18mm spark plug holes.
Screwdriver handle Dzus tool, is the proper tool for the job. This won't slip like a screw driver, because it fits the slotted curve of the dzus button. part #9U1661

High Performance Timers
Robic SC-888, a hand held timer that computes speeds and times for up to
three racers at the same time. Automatic lap counter, lap and/or split times,
speed in mph or kph, 150 lap memory for each timer. Timers can be started
independently or simultaneously and can be set up to measure one, two or three

Robic SC-808 is a 200 dual split memory recall, user selectable running
lap or split timer. Automatic lap counter to 999, fastest, slowest and average
lap times, 1/100 second precision to 25 hours. EL backlight illuminates entire

Aluminum clip board, with mounted SC-808, single or dual watches, and timing
pad.

Smart level inclinometer. Best used to
measure wing/chassis angles, slope of floor when doing alignment, but not
recommended for camber or caster measurements. part# 9U1500
Hylomar. A non-hardening, non-curing, polyester-urethane sealant. It is used both with or without gasket applications, to provide an instant seal. Gasoline, water or coolant and even diesel fuel, fail to effect this material. Use on head and intake gaskets, to give an immediate seal and allow easy gasket removal later. This is not a RTV silicone, and is not to be used to fill large gaps (over .010"), but it will keep sealing were others fail. Available in 100gm tube part# 9H1010
Hylosil 101 From the Hylomar people, an amine based RTV silicone sealant. Why an amine silicone sealant? Because it withstands an oil environment better than standard RTV and thus is a better choice for gasket-less oil pans, valve covers, etc. Available in a 100ml tube, white in color. Copaslip. When applied prior to
assembly, this copper based anti-seize compound, allows easy removal of threaded
fasteners, provides long-term protection for spark plug threads and makes
rod-end bearing adjustments possible, even after long term assembly. Galling of
alloy threaded holes is a particularly annoying experience that can be avoided
with the use of Copaslip. Available in 57gm tube and a 250gm brush top can.

Autosol
Metal Polish. This metal polish from Germany, is the best we've seen, for
cleaning, removing rust and polishing chrome, aluminum, nickel, and brass.
Packaged in a 75 ml tube, it's a must for keeping your vehicle looking
